Staff/AAP Symposium

Join us for the 2026 Staff/AAP Symposium!


The Georgetown Staff/AAP Symposium annually provides an opportunity for free professional development and cross-unit community building for all staff/AAP employees. This year, we are hosting two half-day sessions. The dates are TBD; we are planning one half day session on Capitol Campus one virtual half day session.

If you would like to nominate yourself or a colleague to speak at the event or if you’d like to suggest a topic, please click on the “Nominate Speakers or Suggest Topic” button below to complete the form.

We are finalizing the dates, agenda, and will update this page once all of the details are finalized. We anticipate the overall schedule to be similar to the below:

  • In Person – 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
    • 9:30 am – 10:00 am – Registration-Check In period
    • 10:00 am – 2:30 pm – Program Content and Lunch
  • Virtual Day – 8:30 am – 12:00 pm via Zoom
    • 8:30 am – 9:00 am – Virtual “check in” and optional self-select breakouts for connection
    • 9:30 am – 12:00 pm – Program Content
