Community Survey Shapes 2021-22 Council Priorities

Posted in Announcements

On September 16, the Staff/AAP Advisory Council launched a survey of Georgetown Staff and Academic Administrative Professionals (AAPs) to collect community input on Council advocacy priorities for the 2021-22 term. The anonymous survey was designed to gauge community investment around a range of proposed initiatives in the following areas: 1) human resources, benefits, and employee relations; 2) diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion; and 3) workplace community relations.

Over the course of ten days, 685 Staff and 230 AAPs responded to the survey from across Georgetown’s campuses (49% Main Campus, 17% Law Center, 14% University Services, 14% Medical Center, 6% GU Qatar). The survey was promoted primarily by email. In total, more than 25% of Georgetown Staff and AAPs responded to the survey.

The summary results of the survey, key takeaways, and the Council’s next steps are available here.
